About Brutal: Paws of Fury

Brutal: Paws of Fury is a 1994 one-on-one fighting game developed and published by GameTek, ported to the Super Nintendo in December 1994 by Eurocom. Its roster is built entirely from anthropomorphic animal fighters battling across mostly outdoor arenas, wrapped in a theme of Ancient Chinese wisdom. The game is best remembered for its unusual password system, which requires players to ‘learn’ each fighter’s special moves by winning matches and training with them rather than having every move available from the start.
