Doraemon 4
Description
Doraemon 4: Nobita to Tsuki no Oukoku, known simply as Doraemon 4 in the West, was developed and published by Epoch, released for the Super Famicom in 1995 as the fourth entry in the long-running Doraemon action-platformer series based on Fujiko F. Fujio’s manga. Nobita and his friends travel to the Moon Kingdom to rescue a kidnapped princess, with Doraemon‘s array of futuristic gadgets from the 22nd century forming the toolkit players use to clear each stage, from projectile items to short-range flight. Like the rest of the series, the game was never officially released outside Japan, reflecting how closely the Doraemon franchise’s popularity was tied to its home audience even as its games reached a sizeable, technically accomplished library across the SNES’s lifespan.
