About Dragon Ball Z: Buyū Retsuden

Dragon Ball Z: Buyū Retsuden is a 1994 fighting game released exclusively in Japan for the Sega Mega Drive — the only Dragon Ball Z game ever released on the console in any region. Using the Genesis’s three-button controller (punch, kick, and a button to switch between air and ground combat), players battle as series heroes like Goku and Vegeta against villains such as Frieza and Cell, each with moves matching their anime and manga counterparts. It offered a more original take on the fighting genre at a time when most competitors were straightforward Street Fighter II clones.

Controls are usually keyboard based natively or touch if on mobile. No download required.
