About Hook
Hook for the Super Nintendo was developed by Ukiyotei and published by Sony Imagesoft, releasing in North America in October 1992 as one of several video game adaptations of the 1991 Steven Spielberg film starring Robin Williams. In this side-scrolling action game, players control a grown-up Peter Pan whose children have been kidnapped by Captain Hook; guided back to Neverland by Tinker Bell, Peter must reclaim his identity as Pan and hack his way through 11 levels of Hook’s henchmen to get them back. The soundtrack adapts John Williams’ film score, and the game has earned a cult following as one of the better movie licensed games of its generation.
