About Chakan: The Forever Man

Chakan: The Forever Man is a 1992 Sega Genesis and Game Gear action platformer developed by Extended Play, based on a comic book by Robert A. Kraus. After boasting that even Death cannot defeat him in combat, the warrior Chakan is cursed by Death with eternal life and sent to hunt the undead across four supernatural portals — Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. Alongside his signature dual blades, Chakan can pick up a battering mallet, scythe, battle axe, or grappling hook to fight through each realm’s creatures and bosses.
