About Strider
Strider on the Sega Genesis is a 1990 home conversion of Capcom’s 1989 arcade classic, and it’s widely considered the best console port of the game thanks to the Genesis hardware being unusually close to Capcom’s original CPS-1 arcade board. Players control the cyber-ninja Strider Hiryu, slicing through futuristic Soviet-inspired landscapes with his plasma cypher sword. It was the first console game ever released on an 8-megabit cartridge, and Electronic Gaming Monthly named it Game of the Year and Best Graphics of 1990.
Controls are usually keyboard based natively or touch if on mobile. No download required.
