Description
Battle Tycoon: Flash Hiders SFX was developed by Micronet and published by Sunsoft, released exclusively in Japan for the Super Famicom in 1995 as a sequel to the PC Engine CD original, Flash Hiders. The game is a one-on-one fighting title starring pilotable mechs called Boys, each equipped with distinct weapons and special moves, fought across a roster of arena stages. Unlike traditional fighting games built around martial artists, Flash Hiders leaned into a mecha-anime aesthetic, with slower, weightier movement meant to sell the sense of piloting armored machines rather than bare-knuckle brawling. Never localized outside Japan, it remains one of the more obscure entries in the SNES fighting genre, known mainly to import collectors and fans of the console’s late-era Japan-only library.
